The 50+ Seniors Group at First Christian Church is a ministry to involve those who are

50 years of age and up in ways to enjoy life as we serve the Lord Jesus together.

Mission

To actively involve seniors in the whole body of Christ at First Christian Church of Cape Coral, FL

Objectives

 

To provide an experienced seasoned resources to the Church.

To draw upon each others talents, skills and experiences.

Identify Seniors and encourage their personal growth as a Jesus follower. 

Collaborate with other ministries within FCCs fellowship and the outside community

To ensure that no one is left behind as we grow older in life.

 Strategies

 

Identify seniors and encourage their participation in the Lords work.

Establish a yearly calendar of events for senior participation through sharing of their talents, skills and experiences.

Provide resource information on educational seminars that address the unique needs of seniors

Developing interesting events and easy trips to places that inspire and encourage

Integrate senior adult and younger ministries whenever appropriate

Receive input from the church body.
