IT’S ALWAYS A REAL JOY FOR US TO MEET PEOPLE.
Our mission is leading people in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
We are called to train, mentor, and disciple the students in a personal and intimate relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, through a cooperative partnership with the parents. With the power of the Holy Spirit, incorporating fun, exciting, and unique ways of learning God’s truths, we equip the students for a lifetime of success in their spiritual lives.

It is a pleasure to have your child come to our Awana Club. We consider it a privilege to provide for your child’s physical, mental and spiritual growth. We want our Awana clubbers to realize that God loves them and that through His Son, Jesus, He provides salvation and the ability to have a relationship with Him, and that learning His Word and obeying Him gives them meaningful and rewarding lives. This is accomplished through Bible memory, games, achievements and fellowship. Awana also helps discipline clubbers to work, play and study within their own peer group. “BOYS AND GIRLS FOR CHRIST” is the motto of Awana Clubs and speaks volumes about our goals for the Awana Club Ministry here at FCC. The name “AWANA” is an acronym based on the Bible verse: 2 Timothy 2:15 “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”
Please support your child’s interest in the program by helping with his or her memorization and encouraging enthusiasm about Awana. Through this booklet, we hope to inform you of the various workings of, and activities within Awana. You always have an open invitation to visit any of our clubs. We are thankful for the opportunity to work with your child each week in Awana. We hope your child enjoys our program and will continue to progress through all the club levels.
